It took me 5 days to recover from this adventure of 5 days. A trip with a 2-year old, to a different time zone, and to a new place is an adventure only a naive first time dad would get in. I am glad it was Misha who was with me.
It was exciting to go back to Germany after 5 years. The first time I landed in JFK, I thought I was in Mumbai, but now going back to Frankfurt, I thought Frankfurt was a little Bucharest. Well, JFK was under construction and somethings in Frankfurt have changed since.
I should say the best item I had with me at this trip was the car seat stroller from Go-Go babyz. If Noriko did not come with the idea of it, I do not know if I have ever made it there, or back here. I needed a car seat for the flight, and howelse could I have done it! When Misha wanted to sleep or wake up(wherever and whenever!), she did not care that I had a suitcase, the car seat, a rucksac, and even her little rucksac in addition to her! Well, I survived because of Noriko, anyway, though not only this time.
The best of my visit: to see my godfather, and Almut his wife, friends Yared and Zeni, friends Daniel and Beatrice. And, the other: German breakfast at the Dorint (at least the sight of it even if I did not have the quietude to enjoy it fully. Misha does not realize how dear dear it was to get the chance! well, one day she will know, I hope!).
