It will be a busy Saturday today! Approximately 90,000 people are coming to the football stadium at Auburn University for the Championship Celebration, which starts at one o'clock today. Tuskegee University also has an inauguration ceremony for the new president (the last one sat in this position for 25 years), and all faculty members are required to attend. At least, our direction is opposite from the football traffic.... Have a good weekend, everyone!
アラバマが熱い（といっても、今朝の気温はマイナス4度）。今週は新知事Dr.Bentleyの非キリスト教者に対する不適切な発言でスタート（後日更新）。今日は、1月10に行われた全米大学フットボール選手権で優勝したオーバーン大学の祝賀会がフットボール･スタジアムで予定されており、なんとファン9万人がオーバーンに押し寄せるとか。ほぼ同時刻に、タスキギー大学でも新大学長の就任式が。前大学長は25年間その職についていたので、新学長に対する期待度大！新大学長就任のニュースが流れて以来、寄付金の額もうなぎ上りである。獣医大学（タスキギー大学Univeristyの中の大学の一つ、とされていて、School of Veterinary Medicineというのが正式名称）にも卒業生から1.6億の寄付金が寄せられた。このお金がどう使われるか、に獣医大学側の手腕が試されるところ。

テメスゲンいわく、家に帰る途中に車窓からみた、工事の絵だそうです。信号機か、電線の修理みたいだけど。
